To make one song-ready:\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cul>\n\u003Cli>pick the line or image that sums the poem up, and make it the chorus;\u003C\u002Fli>\n\u003Cli>split the rest into two or three verses of four lines;\u003C\u002Fli>\n\u003Cli>add the chorus between the verses and at the end.\u003C\u002Fli>\n\u003C\u002Ful>\n\u003Ch2>Pick a style that fits the words\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\u003Cp>Heartfelt words suit &quot;soft pop, piano-led, honest, mid-tempo&quot;. Angry words might want &quot;alternative rock&quot;. Playful words might want &quot;ukulele folk pop&quot;.
