A first dance that nobody else in the world has danced to, or a wedding gift the couple will play on every anniversary: their names, their story, real vocals.

At most weddings the first dance is a song a million other couples have used. A song written for this one wedding changes the moment: guests hear the couple's names, the story of the proposal, the little joke from the vows, and the room goes quiet in the right way. It also makes a rare kind of gift for a friend or sibling getting married, one that is not on any registry.
Tell us who is getting married, how they met and what the day should feel like, and the song is written and sung around them with verses for the story and a chorus made for slow dancing or a whole room singing along. You can make several versions, compare them and keep the one that feels like the couple.
Acoustic pop ballad, strings, warm, slow · 3:00
“A slow acoustic first-dance song for James and Hannah. They met as lab partners at university when he set his sleeve on fire, and she has never let him forget it. He proposed on a cliff walk in Cornwall, in the rain, and the ring nearly blew away. The wedding is in a barn with fairy lights. Gentle and romantic, steady enough to sway to, with “James and Hannah” in the chorus.”
Make one like thisBoth names, ideally in the chorus, sung the way the couple says them, including nicknames.
The meeting story in one or two images: a dating app opener, a lab partner, the best friend's sister.
The proposal: where it happened, who cried first, whether the ring was hidden in a dessert.
A line from the vows or a phrase the couple always says to each other.
The people who brought them here: parents, a grandmother's blessing, the friend who introduced them.
The wedding itself: a vineyard, a beach, a city hall at noon, a barn with fairy lights.
What they want for the future: a home, travels, a garden, a family.
The tempo of the moment: a slow ballad for the first dance, a bright pop track for the entrance, a bouncy number for the reception.
So take my hand, Hannah, the music's ours tonight,
every road I wandered led me to this light,
James and Hannah, written in the stars,
from this dance on, wherever we are.
Make the song at least a few weeks ahead so you have time to try a couple of versions and settle on a favourite. Download the MP3 and give it to the DJ or band in advance, along with the exact moment it should play. If the couple's families speak different languages, a chorus in each language means every grandparent understands. Keep the inside jokes gentle: the whole family is listening, and the song will be replayed at every anniversary for years.

Yes. Songs you make may be used both personally and commercially, so your videographer can use it as the soundtrack of your film.
Absolutely. Describe the couple and their story, then send it as a gift page they unwrap on their phones, or print a card with a QR code that plays the song to put inside the envelope.
Yes. Instrumental mode makes the music on its own, so the processional can carry your melody quietly before the first dance brings in the words.
A new account gets its first song free with no card, enough to hear how your story sounds. After that, extra versions are made with credits.
Tell it who it’s for and what happened. We’ll handle the rest.
